What color should my pantyhose be? I’m wearing a wine color dress, long in back and shorter knee-length in front, to a party with silver shoes.

A wine color dress with silver shoes sounds very festive for a party. If you are wearing closed toe style silver shoes you can wear nude color ultra, ultra sheer stockings, sheer black pantyhose or subtle silver shimmer stockings with your wine color dress.

If you are wearing open toe style shoes or strappy sandals you can wear sheer black hose. Look at what’s available at your favorite legwear boutique then try the three different colors on with your dress to see which looks best. The silver shimmer would be very festive if they look good with your dress and shoes.
