A bridal shower / wine tasting sounds like a fun theme for a party. If this event is being held in the evening and in a venue such as a restaurant, club or something similar a lace dress could be appropriate. A lace dress is dressy and makes a statement. Nude patent sandals and diamond stud earrings will be perfect accessories with a lace dress. You don’t need any other jewelry. Before you decide what to wear please check with the Bride-to-Be and get an idea what dress code is in order. You don’t want to be over dressed. Being the Mother of the Groom you want to make a good impression and please your future daughter in law.
It is almost always exciting and fun when a party invitation arrives. However sooner or later we have to start to think about what we will wear. When types of “dress codes” are indicated such as “Smart Casual”, “Cocktail Party attire,” “Tailgate Party”, “Festive”, “Cocktail Chic” or etc. it can throw us for a loop. Where should one begin to figure out what any of these types of dress codes mean?
Evening Bags 101
Evening bags add an element of style to whatever you are wearing! They should be smaller in size than your daytime bags. Usually evening bags are fancy. They can be made from gilded leather, metals, semi-precious jewels or luxurious fabrics like silk, satin, velvet, etc. They can be beaded, studded with crystals, sequins, embroidered or made in needlepoint with fabulous ornamental clasps and metal chains.
