How old is too old to go sleeveless?

How old is too old to go sleeveless?Sleeveless fashions are very popular today in all seasons of the year for all ages, but should we bare arms? If you have beautiful arms you can wear sleeveless fashions. Accentuate the positive! If you have flabby arms and/or wrinkled skin on your arms that doesn’t look good, avoid sleeveless fashions. In general, as you age skin becomes wrinkled. You can wear a jacket, cardigan sweater, or wrap to cover your arms when you wear sleeveless fashions. If you live in a hot humid climate look for lightweight tops or clothes with sheer fabric sleeves to cover your arms. Usually, some type of cover on your arms is needed when you enter air-conditioned buildings and restaurants. If you are in a professional field sleeves look more professional in the workplace. Anything that draws attention upwards to the head area (flattering makeup, your hairstyle, statement jewelry, or neck scarves)  will draw some attention away from your arms.

What color shoes & accessories look best with white outfits?
White outfits are like blank canvases. You have an indefinite number of options when it comes to shoe color and accessories. My preference for shoe colors are neutral colors or light colors such as white, bone, beige, nude or metallics. They look great with all white outfits. Then you have many options when it comes to accessories and jewelry. Choose colors that flatter you when picking out accessories. However white outfits work with colored, black or printed shoes also but they will call attention to your feet and legs. When accessorizing colored or print shoes you can pick up the shoe color in your bag and /or jewelry. Stick to two colors with white for example the woman in the photo below is wearing turquoise accessories but has a different color bag.

What handbag colors are the most versatile?

Brown and black are the handbag colors that are the most versatile. These colors should go with your basic wardrobe neutral colors. A black or brown bag goes with black, brown, grey, navy, brown or beige. If you can only afford one handbag, look for a simple style black or brown bag, without embellishments such as logos, fringe, or metal trim, etc. A classic handbag is an investment. Purchase the best quality bag that you can afford.

If your budget allows for another bag and you want to add a POP of color to what you are wearing, a solid color (red, orange, yellow, green, metallic, or print) is an option. Such a handbag will work with any neutral color outfit or with most colorful clothing. When selecting a handbag, be sure it is large enough to hold everything you need to carry with you.
