Scarves and Boots in Utrecht. After traveling around Belgium and the Netherlands it is apparent that two must have fashion essentials are scarves and boots. Most of these Utrecht street fashions were taken in the fourth biggest city in the Netherlands. Utrecht is a medieval city ringed by a moat and crisscrossed by scenic canals. This city is a university town with a lot of young people contributing to its vibrancy. Utrecht was bustling while we were there. Shops were full of shoppers rummaging through racks of clothes in trendy shops like H&M, Zara and other stores found in the USA.  Slim pants and jeans are favorites. Some skirts are evident and just about everything is being worn with boots, ankle boots or sport shoes.

Near by in Arnhem is the Kröller-Müller Museum with the second largest collection of Van Gough art works and one of the largest sculpture gardens in Europe. The museum is in the Hoge Veluwe National Park home to a wide diversity of plant and animal species. A great place to explore on bike.
