Pop-up shop is one of the latest retail trends that means a temporary retail space that sells things that have a limited demand, are trendy or seasonal. They are almost always set up in high traffic areas. The pop-up shop on Madison Avenue is offering the Louis Vuitton “Masters” line. If you are a LV fan this is the place to head for when in NYC while it is open. The Masters line is an exclusive line of handbags and accessories (bags, scarfs, & small leather goods) featuring famed works of art as seen through the eyes of artist Jeff Koons. The products are adorned with art from the masters: Leonardo da Vinci, Titian, Peter Paul Rubens, Fragonard and Vincent van Gogh. Rumor has it that the van Gogh “wheatfield items are very popular.
Koons is an American artist known for working with popular culture subjects and reproductions of banal objects such as vacuum cleaners, basketballs and balloon animals produced in stainless steel with mirror-finish surfaces.

You can visit the Louis Vuitton Masters pop-up store on 655 Madison Avenue, New York, NY from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on weekdays, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturdays, and 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sundays thru July 31st.
