On the 2020 catwalks designers linked their designs with chains. Some attribute the popularity of chains to their symbolism; togetherness, timelessness, connection, masculine and feminine, and old and new. Chains are classic, trendy and versatile. They can be worn in a variety of ways from simple, small to chunky and layered or smothered with gems plus you can layer chains with beads, pendants and chockers.

Believe it or not there are a number of types of chains. Curb/gourmette chains are twisted and flattened so the links lie flat. Miami Cuban chains are heavier than curb chains and are favored by guys but ladies dig them too.

Tiffany has come out with a chain link collection that they call “HardWare“. They describe it as “Urban in attitude yet elegant in appearance….a luxurious mix of subversive sophistication inspired by the edge of New York City. Louis Vuitton has designed linked chain earrings, necklaces and bracelets in their graphic logo LV. 

Other luxury jewelry brands are offering a variety of chain styles to add glamour to your fashions. You can choose from a variety of earrings, bracelets, rings and/or necklaces.
