Is it appropriate to wear a knee length or floor length dress to a formal, black tie business awards function? The dress is a white, tailored, knee length & has spaghetti straps. I am 30 years old.

Other options are a LBD (little black dress) cocktail dress or a long dark color dress with sheer black hose and black shoes. You can look great and convey a professional appearance at the same time.
