Can I wear a hair ornament to my daughter’s wedding?

Can I wear a hair ornament to my daughter’s wedding? The wedding is outdoors in July.

A hair ornament is modern and playful and rocks these days. A mother of the bride can definitely wear a hair ornament anytime of the year. A hair ornament will draw attention upward to your head area and focus attention on you. Simple hair ornaments or jewels look best with a dressy outfit but something more elaborate will look great with a simple dress such as a sheath. Hair ornaments are youthful looking, make a statement and are easier to wear than a hat. Dressed up hair is the way to go whether adding twinkly hairpins, combs, floral headpieces or chains and gems. Jewels for the hair have been popular for centuries and most recently during the 1980’s. They are back in the limelight again and hair stylists love playing with hair ornaments, moving them around, etc.  There are hair ornaments that work for long or short hairdos. Why not give them a try? Simple jewelry is best with hair ornaments and accessories.

What Should the Mother of the Bride Wear?
The one given when deciding what to wear for your daughter’s wedding is that every MOB (Mother of the Bride) wants to look great. Your daughter is the center of attention on her wedding day but that doesn’t mean you can’t shine too. Mothers of Brides usually have first choice when it comes to selecting an outfit for their daughter’s wedding but should let the Mother of the Groom in on what she is wearing if possible. A personal shopper/stylist at your favorite department store can help in selecting a MOB outfit.

Adorn Your Hair
Why not adorn your hair? When looking at options for changing your hair, different types of accessories can be a fresh solution. Whenever I feel that “bored with my look” mood surfacing, a quick rummage through my accessory drawer always provides the best remedy in two ways.
