What style other than fashion shoes to wear with pants?

What style other than fashion shoes to wear with pants?I have several pairs of pants that I don’t know what shoes to wear with. One pair are ankle pants that cover my ankle and are tapered at the bottom. The second pair is similar but the bottom of the leg is wider, more like a straight legged pant. The third are shorter and fall right at my ankle but are not tight or tapered, just straight. I don’t like heals or very feminine looking shoes. All the fashion advise online is about heals and very fashionable shoes.

Fashion shoes are not always called for with pants. Since you do not like feminine looking footwear look at classic loafers, oxfords, chunky shoes or ankle boots. Classic loafers and oxfords can be worn with all the styles you mentioned. Shorter and wider leg pants look good with chunky shoes or ankle boots. Wear classic loafers or oxfords with tailored ankle pants that cover your ankle. Pants with wider leg bottoms can be worn with chunky style shoes. Shorter ankle pants that are not as tapered would look good with chunky shoes or ankle boots.

Should the color of your shoes & purse match?
Shoes and purse colors do not have to match. A basic black and white outfit and black shoes looks fabulous with a bold colored purse. Not only is it a modern look the bold color adds a POP of color to what you are wearing. The modern woman wears contrasting colors, textures and patterns at the same time. A brown dress might look awesome with an orange or yellow purse and nude color shoes. With a navy blue dress or suit you can wear a navy patent bag and green or crimson color shoes. Experiment to find some cool color combinations.
