Fashion Week Makeup Trends From NY to Milan and everywhere in between, MAC makeup artists create stunning and unique faces for many of the top designers every spring and fall during fashion week. It is over the course of these weeks that fashionistas around the globe can glimpse not only what masterpieces in clothing are being revealed, but what the forecast in hair and makeup will be for the upcoming season.
Fall fashion week 2013 is definitely showing a few repeat performances in makeup from designer to designer which is indicative of emerging trends. For eyes, metallic eye shadows are being showcased several different ways. The Blumarine show in Milan kept the look subtle and smoky, while backstage at Jeremy Scott in New York, pastel metallic shadow drew a cleaner line. Pastels also made a debut at Badgley Mischka in New York but this time in matte.
The classic red lip seems to be going through a revival for it was surely the star backstage at Monique Lhuillier, Altuzarra and Guo Pei. Something tells me we will be seeing plenty of these items come spring.
