A satin halter style dress is so beautiful and can be perfect for a wedding. The best way to determine if a satin dress is appropriate for a July wedding is to determine location, time (day or evening) or whether it is a formal or informal wedding. Summer and daytime weddings tend to be more casual than winter or evening weddings. If the wedding is late afternoon or evening and/or formal (the invitation specifies black tie) a halter style satin dress should be awesome for a July wedding. Pastel colors, stripes, or floral prints in lightweight fabrics are more appropriate for summer wedding attire. Weddings are to celebrate and dress up. A dress of satin fabric is chic and sensual. If the wedding ceremony will take place in a church wear a lightweight shawl to cover your arms. If you cannot determine what dress is appropriate ask the hostess.
