Are rompers age-appropriate if you are over 50?

Rompers combine a top and bottom in one piece. There are many types and styles of rompers, casual and sophisticated. If you have a decent figure with good-looking arms and legs, age should not be a factor in wearing a romper. Today many women over 50 look fabulous. That being said nothing is worse than an older woman trying to look young and not being able to pull it off. If you want to wear a romper try some different styles, lengths, and fits on, and then choose the most flattering style for your body type /shape. If you have an hourglass or apple body shape go for a belted or tie-waisted romper. Top-heavy gals look best in off-the-shoulder styles and short divas look fantastic in solid color rompers. Romper styles with longer shorts and long sleeves are more flattering on older divas. Rompers are easy to wear and look great as beach cover-ups with sandals, wedges, or flip-flops. Rompers can be accessorized with belts, tights, hats, vests, blazers, denim jackets, and jewelry for a put-together stylish look. Only wear a romper if you will feel comfortable and think it is appropriate.

Are pantsuits / jumpsuits still fashionable?  I have this beautiful, halter pantsuit in brown with bronze rhinestone at the waist and on the straps. Elegant and festive. But don’t know what to do with it.

Pantsuits / jumpsuits are ‘in style” if they are flattering on you. From your description your halter pantsuit sounds very dressy.  It would probably be perfect for festive occasions such as weddings or when cocktail attire is appropriate.
