Can I wear stockings to a summer wedding?

Can I wear stockings to a summer wedding? I am undecided about stockings/hosiery. I know the fad is to go without these days. I have several spider veins that I’m self conscious about so I wear leg makeup which helps, but does not cover all of them.

Yes you can wear stockings to a summer wedding. Stockings have never gone out of style and give a more polished look to your outfit. There are a number of legwear options out there if you want to cover up your spider veins such as dark color sheer stockings (for example black or navy). Patterned stockings are another option but they will draw attention to your legs.

Draw attention upward, away from your legs, with statement earrings or other jewelry that is in good taste.
