Pictures of the brides and wedding dress styles were taken when traveling in many countries. White, the symbolic color for weddings, seems to be the most popular color of wedding dresses. Years ago, for a second marriage one would never wear white. Today, the tradition has changed whether it is a first, second or third wedding, white wedding dresses are acceptable.

Whether you are the mother of the bride or mother of the groom, when choosing your wedding outfit be sure to select styles that flatter your figure type and are appropriate for the level of formality of the wedding. Floor length and ankle length dresses can be worn at weddings that take place after noon. However, a pant suit or pants and dressy jacket, etc. are also acceptable wedding clothing today. A classic style outfit is good because it does not look dated 10 years later in the best wedding photos. Also stay away from white, ivory, & vibrant colors or styles that will take attention away from the bride. It is her day and she is the star.

While I pay attention to the dress color, the woman's particular colors and features in her face (and body), most important is whether the woman likes it or not. Is she comfortable in it, and does she believe she's beautiful and powerful. If she does,  then she is. I design from this foundation, so awoman has only to choose, commit, and succeed!

I would like to start this article with lots of don'ts but I  would still like to think of it as positive thinking for the bride. First,  don't take every one to your appointments. At the early stages of looking choose some one who wants to help and knows you well. They will have your best interests at heart.
