A Must See When Visiting London!

The William and Judith Bollinger Jewellery Gallery Victoria and Albert Museum
The new gallery at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London is a high-tech crystal palace. It was designed by the Czech architect Eva Jiricna and embraces multimedia in a big way. Screens in the the gallery display rotating images and computers allow visitors to search and learn.
The senior curator Richard Edgcumbe says "It's about telling the story of jewelry in a comprehensible manner from 1500 B.C." The gallery has 3,500+ items of jewelry, from ancient Greece to the modern era on display.
Visitors will be delighted by pieces from the courts of Europe and Russia, some of the finest designs from well-known designers of the 20th century and contemporary designers.
A gift of $14 million from William and Judith Bollinger, after whom the gallery is named, made it possible.
