Eco Chic Handbags and Purses

"Discarded to Stylish"
  Zansus Purses

Fashion and style do not have to be sacrificed for the sake of sustainability according to Sushanta Bhandarkar and Naz Saeed. They are two eco-minded and resourceful Interior Designers and Artists, with an earth-friendly attitude towards everything. They founded Zansus Purses - "Eco Chic Handbags and Purses" whose philosophy is a pure rescue, re-use, re-purpose, re-cycle, and re-think effort.

Zansus Purses intercepts discarded items/ fabrics/ textiles/ accessories destined for landfills from the upholsterers table and re-cycles them into useful, amazingly hip, functional, fashionable, and earth-friendly designer handbags and purses. Because of a large assortment of creatively adapted materials every design is fresh and unique. No two Zansus Purses are alike!

Being a green business, they try to incorporate even the smallest of pieces in creative ways to minimize their waste and diligently donate whatever they cannot use. This philosophy of re-use and reduce ties in with their not-for-profit Environmental Awareness Program: Empowering World Change (EWC). EWC's mission is to promote environmental awareness and sustainability through education, collaboration and outreach that inspires children, parents and communities to be involved, share the knowledge, and take small, achievable steps that collectively make a significant contribution toward positive environmental change.
