Red or Animal Print Booties Look Great With all Black Clothing!

Booties/ankle boots are quite main stream fashion now after being worn by the fashionistas for the last 3 or 4 years.
Are they right for your wardrobe? The answer is maybe as they are difficult to wear. However, if they are flattering on you and look good with what you are wearing, go for it. They’ll work well with this fall’s leggings and minis and with long skirts that cover the top of the bootie/ankle boot. (If any leg shows with a long skirt, you should wear opaque hose or tights with your booties.)
Short skirts, which are a couple of inches above the knee or shorter, look good with tights and booties/ankle boots. Another idea is to wear narrow leg/skinny pants tucked into ankle boots or wear them with your straight legged trousers.
Short women or those having short legs should match their tights with the color of their ankle boots or wear skinny pants tucked into their ankle boots to appear taller. Dark shorts with dark tights can be a great combination on shorter young women. Beware that they might shorten the leg!
Tall women can wear ankle boots with all of the above, but will appear taller. Wearing colored or printed (animal prints) tights or booties/ankle boots will break up the silhouette and will lessen height.
It’s best to avoid cropped pants or skirts below the knees with booties/ankle boots. If you want to add something new this season, try a pair of booties with several outfits. If you look good and feel confident wearing them, don't be afraid to go forward!
