My Trip to the City By the Bay’s Fashion Scene
San Francisco Bay Area Fashion Artistry
Since I am a native to the San Francisco Bay Area, I get just a little extra giddy and my heart thumps just a tad bit faster when I hear about a big event that will take place in my city. So you can imagine my reaction when I found out it’s all about FASHION! And since I love fashion I have to give you a taste of San Francisco Bay Area fashion artistry.
On Thursday July 26th 2012 the Bay area’s own BAYFashion Magazine held it’s launch party for its 2012 Haute Couture issue with a spectacular fashion show featuring some of the Bay’s most incredible talent. And did I forget to mention incredibly unique, one of a kind, and authentic couture collections? All I have to say is WOW! And the best part is that I got to get a glimpse backstage at how all the beauty is put together before the looks hit the runway.
Models in Dark Garden
The show included designs by Victor Tung, Dark Garden, Picky Studio Couture, Nelli Rosh, Chon Pike, and the amazingly mystique of Gelareh Alam. This fabulous show took place at the beautiful Clift Hotel in the heart of San Francisco not only featuring amazing designers but amazing models and staff as well. This well put together fashion show exhibited a taste of San Francisco’s own haute style where the looks ranged from luxurious, elegant, creative, funky, fun filled, sensual, to dark and mysterious. Each designer brought an element of style to the runway that reflected a taste of the Bay’s own unique fashion artistry. Nothing was understated in this show and everything was exquisite and tasteful. Cheers to BAYFashion Magazine for an absolutely fabulous show!
