5 Hot Fashion Trends for Fall and How to Wear Them

Some of us do not need any new clothes this fall but may like to add something to update what we have in our closets. One of the 5 hot trends listed below will give your fall wardrobe a new life.

1.    Boots are a staple in every woman's wardrobe today. They are not going away either.
Common sense says that boots are better worn in the cooler months. They seem heavy for warm weather climates. However that doesn't seem to deter. Women are wearing them in hot and cold weather these days.

The ankle boot is very strong this fall.  Ankle boots can be worn with tights and a skirt or a dress to the office. They are perfectly acceptable with slacks also. A solid color leather or suede knee high boot looks great with dresses or skirts. Pants tucked into your knee highs gives you a sporty look. The motorcycle boot looks great with jeans, corduroys or a skirt for a casual look.

2.    Something draped or pleated will update our wardrobes. The dress shown below can be worn out to dinner or a party and would look great at the theatre, opera or symphony.  The blouse can be worn to work or for evening. It would look stunning with pants or a pencil style skirt.

The skirt above in a mid knee length will work in or out of the office. You can wear it with tights or stockings (sheer or opaque).

3.    Leopard patterns are best worn as accessories for most of us. This raincoat would perk up a rainy day and would also work for many of us in good weather. If you are lucky to have a great figure you can wear a dress like the one pictured to a party. Otherwise don't go there.

Carry these gloves or wrap a leopard print scarf around your neck for some excitement.

4.    I think of textures as fall classics. Fabrics like tweeds, corduroys, velvets, etc. are ideal in the fall and winter because they keep us warm if it's cold . If you are lucky to have a tweed skirt, dress, jacket or coat in the closet you can get some mileage out of it this fall.

5.    A power Suit needs to be in every woman's wardrobe. If you don't need it for your job

you will need it for special occasions that occur time and again. When you look for that perfect suit be prepared to make an investment. If it suits you (no pun intended) you'll wear it for many seasons.

Not for the Conservative Work Place. Wear With Black or Dark Brown Matching Tights and a Skirt or Dress.
