    Etiquette is defined on Merriam-Webster's OnLine Dictionary as "the conduct or procedure required by good breeding or prescribed by authority to be observed in social or official life." If you want to be successful in life you need to cultivate good manners.  You certainly need them if you plan on landing a good job after graduation.

     

  • Office Gift Giving Tips and Etiquette


    Before you fret about holiday gift giving, it's important to find out what your company's gift giving policy is. Also is there a price limit? If there is a policy, stick to it, price limit, etc. If you are giving gifts to everyone in your department, give something similar. If you are giving gifts to a few friends at work, exchange them in private.

     

  • Be Respectful and Courteous

     

    Good manners start at home. Treat your spouse with compassion. Doing things for the person you love will benefit you and him (or) her a hundred fold. Don't forget to use the magic words "please", "thank you", "excuse me", "I'm sorry, and "may I."

     

  • Sow The Seed’s of Style, Grooming, And Behavior

    As we all know, we are attracted to people with whom we can identify and who have qualities we admire that we aspire to have ourselves. Subconsciously, these people serve as our role models.  No matter our age. And as we see everyday, the young look to the superstars of sport, film and TV as their role models and idolize them in ways that can make our hair stand on end.  But never underestimate the subliminal impact we have on our children.
