In most traditional white-collar industries, like finance or accounting, a professional business dress is appropriate. A conservative suit, meaning a solid color (navy, gray, black or brown) or a tiny pinstripe, is best.  Add some interest to a solid color suit with a stripe or print shirt and scarf at the neck. If you choose a pin stripe suit, a solid color blouse and a scarf will work best.

Etiquette is defined on Merriam-Webster's OnLine Dictionary as "the conduct or procedure required by good breeding or prescribed by authority to be observed in social or official life." If you want to be successful in life you need to cultivate good manners.  You certainly need them if you plan on landing a good job after graduation.

They are great references for last minute answers to your fashion dilemmas or they make great gifts all year long!

Business casual attire for women continues to pose a challenge for many women that are serious about climbing the corporate ladder. "Casual" implies laid back or not serious. However an office environment means business. it is important to choose your business casual clothes carefully. You are being judged whether it is a regular workday day or casual Friday's. When dressing for a casual workday it is prudent to stick close to your normal business attire.

Traditionally most of us take a little time at the end of the year and reflect on what we want to do better next year or what we want to achieve next year.  These become our New Year's resolutions.  If you are like most of us who rarely achieve these desired goals, then perhaps a new approach to resolutions might be helpful.
