If you are visiting Paris before August 31 it is possible to visit the Fondation Pierre Bergé to see the Yves Saint Laurent fashion show. It illustrates how the famous Majorelle garden in Marrakech was a source of inspiration for Yves Saint Laurent.

 

The show has displays of beautiful caftans which were covered up by djellaba
(pronounced jell a ba) when worn outside the home, several outfits with Mediterranean flower embroideries, a richly decorated violet velvet wedding caftan, etc.
