Art to Wear Green is Good - Help Save The Planet
Since 2005 Sally Rosen, at the St. Vincent de Paul Society, has challenged designers and students at the Academy of Art University, Art Institute of San Francisco, and City College of San Francisco, etc. to design clothing from donations received at the Society. Besides re-inventing clothing by creating fabulous one-of-a-kind, art to wear designs this event has become an annual fund raiser for the St. Vincent de Paul Society.
Discarded to Divine is an opportunity to own a one-of-a-kind design, help a good cause and re-cycle clothing. Over the last 5 years some "hip" designs have been created and the party and fashion auction provide a fun evening for all that attend.
