The show called "blog.mode: addressing fashion " is the first of several fashion shows planned by the Met in hopes to getting at the viewers reactions. It consists of 40 items from well known designers like Dior, Karl Lagerfeld, Rei Kawakubo, Elsa Schiaparelli and some designers not so well known like Hamish Morrow, Hussein Chalayan, and Azzedine Alaia.

Whether you visit online or in person you have an opportunity to express your opinion in the form of a blog from your home computer or on one of the terminals set up at the show. A new item will be featured on the website daily.

There is nothing as fabulous as an in person visit to experience the luscious fabrics, intricacies of the draping and see the creativity from the designers. Especially designers we're not so familiar with. If you are in Manhattan don't miss it!
