I'm a size 24, fair skinned, bright red hair, work in the legal field. I purchased a taupe pant suit to wear to a networking dinner. What color should my blouse, shoes and handbag be? Are peep-toe pumps appropriate? Thank you.

Taupe is a neutral color so you have a number of choices. You can go with a top in white or in the same color as your suit but in a lighter or darker shade. Try to find shoes in the same color or as close to the color of the pants suit. Then you can carry a colored handbag like red or snakeskin. Closed toe pumps are more business like than peep toe style shoes. A colored top that flatters your skin tone and your red hair will also look good with a taupe suit. If your taupe suit has more beige in it a dark brown, red, or turquoise, etc. color top can work. If it has more gray in it you can choose a gray, red, black, or green, etc. Shoes as close to the same color as your suit will look best. With a colored top carry a handbag that picks up the the color of your suit. For example if the taupe has more brown in it a dark brown leather bag would look nice. If the suit has more of a gray color choose a black handbag.
