I've been invited to a 40th birthday party at The Palms Resort in Las Vegas on May 1st. It says pool party on the invite. Any suggestions for wearing apparel?


       

A colorful dress like the one pictured here with low heel sandals would look great. If you prefer to wear pants to the party cropped pants with dressy wedge or sandal style shoes will work. Bring your bathing suit and a cover up if you are planning to take a dip in the pool.
