I am headed to New York again to visit a few of my friends. Last time I was woefully unprepared, I was the only girl in a group of 5 and I was the worst dressed! These guys were so out of my league, wearing sweaters with button-ups and ties, and even went so far as to don a three piece suit! This time I am going early May instead of January, we will be site seeing and meeting several important people. What should I wear to keep up with the guys fashion wise but also stay comfortable?

New Yorkers are very fashion savy but most women dress casually in New York today. You can wear slim pants or dress jeans with shirt style blouses and jackets for sightseeing. Boots, flats or comfortable ballerina's look nice with pants. For out in the evening or meeting important people you can wear a dress and cardigan sweater or a skirt, top, tights, jacket and pump style heels.
