What do I wear to a 2:30 pm fall wedding in a Catholic Church?

Weddings are special occasions and an opportunity to dress up. Since the wedding is in the afternoon you have many choices. A dress, suit or two piece (top and skirt or pants) outfit in a style and color that flatters you will work. Some ideas: a silk dress, a suit with a dressy blouse (lace, silk, satin, etc.) or pants with a dressy top and a jacket or pashmina shawl. Also an outfit with simple lines and some statement jewelry is appropriate. You can carry a clutch or evening bag. Closed toe pumps or slingback style shoes worn with stockings will give you a polished look. Since the wedding will be held in a Catholic Church something more covered up is in good taste. Anything goes these days, but avoid floor length skirts and dresses since it is an afternoon wedding.

I will suggest that second and last dress is perfect.
