I'm going to a senior semi and my date is wearing a gold & white dress what color should I wear?

Your date's dress in gold and white sounds fabulous. If "semi" means semi formal you do not have to wear a tux. White and gold will go with any color. A suit & button down shirt with a tie is the traditional attire for "semi formal" menswear.  A dark gray, navy or brown suit should look good with your date's dress.
