I have bought a sapphire gown for a party and I really need help trying to figure out what color my hair should be. The dress is a floor length gown and it has a halter type top with a mermaid type effect to it. What should I color my hair and should I do with it! Help!!

Since you are open to coloring your hair there are many options available. Blondes, brunettes and redheads look equally stunning in blue/sapphire since all hair colors create a nice contrast with the boldness of the blue. Just make sure that the tone of the color you choose for your hair compliments your skin tone. When it comes to how to wear your hair with a mermaid style dress, think about the silhouette you would like to create. If you have a long and lean figure, wearing the hair completely up and off the face can be a bit severe. Some alternatives would be to wear hair half up with the back lengths flowing, or completely up with some softness around the face. If you are a bit more curvy, wearing your hair down red carpet style can balance the lines as well as wearing hair half up and half down.
