I'm 17 im in the 11th grade and coming up at my school in December we have our Christmas dressy day were we come to school looking really nice and fancy. This year I've decided I want to really do it up and look great. I'm not sure what I should wear? I'm thinking maybe a pencil skirt and black pumps. I don't know what kind of top and maybe jacket I should wear with that and since it will be cold what kind of tights or stockings? Or could I wear a dress but I don't like maxi dresses or flare ones. so yeah I could really use your help and opinions. Thank you. (I'm 5' 2" not that tall.)

A black pencil skirt, black tights or black patterned stockings and black pumps are all great. Top off with a sweater or dressy shirt in a holiday color (red or metallic) and cardigan sweater. A cute sweater dress with tights would look good if you want to wear a dress.
