I'm going to Royal Ascot in June and I have bought a black and white dress. Should all of my accessories be the same color? I'm hoping to wear a huge hat. Should my hat be a completely different color? Any suggestions you have would be great! Thanks.

What great fun to be going to Royal Ascot! You will see many beautiful outfits since it is a fashionable event. You have a number of choices since you are wearing a black and white dress. You can mix things up or stick with the black and white color scheme of the dress you are wearing.  Black shoes and purse with a large black hat with white decoration would look fabulous. Your black hat can have white and another color decoration like red, etc. if you want to introduce another color. That would look very stylish also. If you want more color you can choose a large hat in a color and carry a matching color bag and stick with black shoes. Don't let your hat over power you. It should be in proportion to your size.
