I'm wearing a knee length black dress with some sequins (66 year old woman). What color stockings IF ANY should I wear for a day wedding & night reception. My shoes are sandals with an open toe and closed black. ..Or should I go bare legged? Thanks.

"66" is the new "44." If you have tan legs the "in" style is to go without stockings with open toe shoes. You can try a black stocking with your dress and open toe shoes and see if you like the look . (No nude stockings with open toe shoes.)

If you prefer wearing stockings you can wear a black pump or sling back shoe style with nude or sheer black stockings. Wear what you think looks best with your dress and what you feel comfortable and confident in.
