I am a 15 year old wearing a short, sparkly, black, strapless, crinoline dress for homecoming with high (5 inch stiletto) heels, not pumps, cut work, higher up the foot shoe. My mom and I think it looks more feminine and pretty with black opaque tights, but the boutique where we purchased it think bare legs would be better. How do you weigh in on this?

Black tights are "in style" and feminine with a short, sparkly, black , strapless crinoline dress. Bare legs can look pretty ugly. As long as your dress is short, black tights or black opaque stockings will probably look better and be "in style" and in good taste with your homecoming dress.
