What to Wear When You Meet an Online Date???

Is it proper to wear ankle boots with skirts or long dresses? I know they would look best with tights, but I am extremely knocked kneed and can't wear them. I an 78 if that is relevant.

Age should not be a factor if what you wear is flattering on you and in good taste. Ankle boots can be worn with skirts and long dresses.
