Silk or satin pencil pants are a great choice to wear to a cocktail party announcing a wedding. A top made from a dressy fabric like lace, silk, metallic or a synthetic would go very nicely with your pants. You can wear pumps, peep toe, strappy sandals style shoes, etc. A fancy style shoe will draw attention to your feet so be sure you get a pedicure if you choose a fancy or open toe style. If you prefer to wear a closed toe classic pump or flats draw attention upward by wearing some statement earrings or a top with a trim around the neck area.
