Going to "Opening Night" at a theater in downtown Atlanta - is cocktail dress appropriate? Is there a certain length?

You will probably see a variety of clothing at the "Opening Night" theater event. A knee length cocktail dress (or an inch or two shorter if you are in your 20's) is appropriate. You can also wear dressy slacks with a fancy top. If you are going with friends find out what they are wearing so you feel comfortable. Whatever you decide to wear be sure it flatters your figure and is age appropriate.
