Yes it is OK to wear black sheer hose in the spring and summer. Whether to wear sheer black hose depends on what you are wearing, your footwear and where you are going. For example if you are invited to a special event and you are wearing a black dress and black pumps you might want to consider wearing sheer black hose. Black opaque hose would be inappropriate in hot weather. If you are in a place like San Francisco, where the weather is cold in July, you can wear black opaque or sheer black stockings day or evening. Always try on your outfit ahead of time to see if it looks good on you.
