What to Wear When You Meet an Online Date???

I will be attending a rather formal affair late this month. My attire will be a "Katherin Hepburn little black dress." My shoes...fabric sling backs. Will sheer black nylons be correct with the sling-backs? Or should I wear my fabric 'pumps' or nude sheer nylons? Thank you for any assistance you may wish to offer. It will be greatly appreciated.

You can wear sheer black stockings with black sling back or black pump style shoes with your "Katherin Hepburn little black dress." Sounds like a great outfit. You should look very chic.
