What's New

I have a deep pink (magenta) fitted shift dress and have found high stilettos in same color. Can I wear black opaque or black sheer tights with this color shoe or would bare legs or natural tights look better? This is for an indoor wedding in Feb.

Your deep pink (magenta) fitted shift dress and stilettos sounds like a fabulous outfit. You will have to try black opaque, black sheer stockings and sheer black tights and do a mirror test to see how they look with your dress and shoes. Also try ultra sheer, neutral color stockings if your shoes are a closed toe style (no sheer neutral stockings with open toe shoes). If none of the above look good bare legs are acceptable if you have gorgeous legs with a nice color. (Bare white legs look awful.) Stockings give you a more polished look than bare legs so if possible go with something on your legs. Avoid natural tights, they make your legs look heavy.

Sheer black stockings might be the best choice. You can wear them with open or closed toe style shoes.
