What's New

We're having a wedding the next month, and I want to look hot without paying so much money (because I'm nearly broke now) so I thought of ordering a vintage Christian Dior tailcoat white, with black shirt, pants and vest along with a white bow tie. What do you say? And what does a vintage tailcoat mean? Does big fashion house still manufacture tailcoats?

Tailcoats are very, very formal and usually worn for formal occasions when "White Tie" is specified. If you are the groom you decide on the dress code and you can wear what you would like. If you are a wedding guest and the invitation says Black Tie optional, you can wear a tux or dark suit. If the wedding is formal a tux is correct. Otherwise wear a dark suit for a daytime or an evening wedding. An option might be to rent a suit if you do not own one. "Vintage clothing is a generic term for new or second hand garments originating from a previous era." Wikipedia. Tailcoats are still manufactured today.
