What's New

I'm an older woman and want to look natural but with a hint of color. I read that we should apply blush to our cheeks smiling. When I don't smile the blush is low on my face. Can I use my lipstick as a blush?

When it comes to applying make up (blush) the best way to get it right is to experiment and practice applying it until you get it the way you want. As far as what type of blush to choose creamy types work best on more oily type skin and the powder types work on dry skin.  If your skin tends to be more oily you should be able to use your lipstick for blush. If you get too much on try removing some of it with cotton balls.

Too much make up adds age so keep it light. It might be time to get your make up applied by a professional. You can ask  him or her to advise you on applying blush on your face and check out the new fall colors.
