I am going to a daytime fashion show and plan to wear a little black dress. It's a "shirt-style" dress about mid-knee. Accents on dress are silver zipper front. I'm 5'2" tall and about a size 2. I want to wear hosiery. Can I do patterned or colored hosiery and what color and type shoe should I go with? I'm planning on red earrings and a red bangle for a POP of color. What do you think? Hi my daughter is 9 and is in a pageant this weekend just Ready for Life, nothing fancy, but her dress is a plain formal that touches the floor slightly, so my question is, since only the tip of her shoes barely show, is it OK for her to wear some strappy white sandals she already has w/small block heel? I'm attending a wedding later this week and have questions about accessories. I'll wear a fitted dress; the bodice is cream silk and the skirt is soft navy leather. I'm leaving for California at the end of this month for my neice's wedding, to be held in the Napa valley. Therefore, I have been laden with multiple decisions, the first one is which length of dress is appropriate, a long black Victorian like, hand beaded gown with matching shawl ( the mother of the bride is wearing a long black but simple gown with rhinestone accessories). The second choice is a knee length eggplant sheath dress with lots of large crystal pieces at the neckline. I am clueless as to which style is acceptable for her evening event. The eggplant dress (short)...will require either flats or a small 1 to 2 " heel ( i have a back injury) can not tolerate the shoes that I would really like to pair with the gown and/or the sheath. Please recommend a color..is dyeing shoes to match your outfit a "faux pas" now? I have a silver evening bag for either outfit but will take any suggestions.
