I really need some help. I've been invited to a friends Sweet Sixteen party and I have only a small clue of what I want to wear and I need your help. The party is going to have loud music, bright lights, etc (kind of a rave theme), but my friend said we could wear whatever we want (some people are wearing party dresses, others are wearing jeans and tee's). It's quite obvious that I'm not a girly girl so the dress is out of the question. I'm planning on wearing some dark-washed jeans, flats, and a nice top with some jewelry. I own the jeans but I need to buy the flats, top and jewelry and I have no idea what styles to go with. I'm very short, I'm barely 5'1' and I'm not fat but I'm a bit chubby, I'm not gonna lie. Please Help. I really want to look nice.

My son is getting married in February. I bought a chocolate brown long strapless dress made of satin. I also bought a sequined jacked to wear with it for modesty. The jacket is listed as "bronze" but its sequins are brown and gold. The jacket hangs open in front- no buttons or hooks- and the sleeves are elbow length. What sort of jewelry should I wear? I had planned to wear a multi-strand pearl necklace, but I don't like the look now that I put all of the pieces together. I plan to wear my hair in an up-do so I will need earrings. Also, I am thinking about ordering brown satin wrist-length gloves instead of rings/bracelet. What would you recommend? With the last year of high school coming to an end soon, I have had to start thinking about PROM and what I want to wear. I know everyone always wears the same strapless or one shoulder dresses, so I wanted to be different. I have opted for a long sleeved, deep open back, tight fitting, long dress. (Inspiration came from Angelina Jolie's green long sleeved dress) I'm 5'10'' with a tan complexion, and an athletic build as I play sports. I wanted to ask you, what you guys think of this option for the dress. I am hoping to find a navy blue option, but do you guys feel the color is wrong or that I should go for another color? Also, how should I accessorize the dress, as I am trying to go for an elegant, yet sexy vibe. Opinion on shoes, jewelry and hair would be much appreciated.
