I recently got a new job and for the interview I wore a black pantsuit (a blazer & long flared pants) and pointy toed pumps. When I showed up for my first day I was wearing a knee-length skirt and pumps and bare legs. I was pulled aside by my boss and told that I needed to be wearing pantyhose. I wasn't aware of the requirement. I've been wearing pants everyday since then because I hate pantyhose and I've never worn them except for special occasions. What type of pantyhose should I buy? Control tops? Also what color is office appropriate? I don't have any practical pantyhose experience. Is it possible to tan my legs and just make it look like I'm wearing them?
