We know that what we eat affects all facets of our well being. It determines how we feel and how we look. -
Healthy and Easy Summertime Eating
I try, as best as I can, to eat seasonally. With warm weather and summer approaching, I begin to consider the types of foods and menus that are appropriate for eating this time of year. Tiens-toi droite! Stand up Straight!
Imagine for a moment a woman dressed in a beautiful designer suit, with her shoulders slumped forward, her back rounded, her chin down and her stomach relaxed. Now, imagine the same woman wearing the same suit but standing tall with her back straight, shoulders drawn back and down, chin parallel to the floor, stomach in, and her glutes (gluteal muscles) squeezed together! Heads will turn and she'll be admired for her carriage, her style and the confidence she projects. -
