The trend among some celebrities for a couple of years now has been to show a little dark “root” with their blonde locks. Ladies such as Sarah Jessica Parker and the Olsen twins have been letting their brunette flag fly and sporting assertive fashion to support the look.

With one of the recent Chanel couture shows featuring models with dark
blonde roots sashaying down the runway, it seems that the dark hair root trend
is really making its rounds through the classic crowds and will be here for a
bit longer. Even women with a very clean, pristine style such as Marisa Miller are adopting this more relaxed version of blonde.
So, for the ladies of the workforce who get a bit anxious when they realize they
are going to be going a week over schedule for their color appointment due to a
last minute business trip...relax. Just know that as luck would have it, you are
actually ahead of the set!
