Using Hi Tech Analysis

Now some make-up counters are offering a personal complexion analysis using high-tech photography. What do they show? Wrinkles, brown spots and large pores can be seen. Skin evaluations, on-screen and printed reports are generated and recommendations are then made such as skin care products like moisturizers, etc.
Analysis can be free or as much as $200. Customers should be aware that these machines are very useful in selling you more products (some of which you don't need).
There are several machines providing skin/complexion analysis for make- up counters dermatologists and spas. Some of the features available are skin comparisons with others by age, radiance of skin, and/or a look into the future (what you will look like in 5 years). In addition some machines can track if a therapy is really working.
In the hands of a dermatologist some machine manufacturers say that subskin problems and spider veins are visible. However, there have not been any accuracy or quality studies done for the different machines
